BIO/About - Bigg Weezy

It Aint Easy Bein Bigg Weezy

Bigg Weezy

Bigg Weezy was born Wayne Russell Brown in 1959 the last of the Baby Boomers (who names this shit). As a little boy he learned early that he had the ability to make people laugh. At age 5 a visitor to the family home said to him “your going to be a Comedian when you grow up” he thought it had something to do with bird watching.  He went through his young years being the class clown and barely passing his classes.  After HS he found himself wanting to go into business. At age 27 he retired and with his wife, brother and Mother started a small company in Behavioral Services. But inside he wanted to slang jokes and in 2010, at the tender age of 50,  his daughter told him he wasn’t funny on Face Book  and on September 15 he walked into the Ha Ha Comedy Club in North Hollywood, California and a career was born. He’s studied under the Greg Wilson’s Comedy Institute and has been the part of three world tours for the King of Underground Comedy the legendary Katt Williams. He’s also opened for the original Latin King of Comedy Joey Medina and not to mentioned star of  “Hang’n with Mr. Coopers”  Mark Curry and SNL’s Leslie Jones In his brief yet stellar start, he has won numerous local contest, performed at all of the major clubs in Hollywood and now Arenas across the country.  Bigg Weezy doesn’t categorized his style but it can be best said he has old school thoughts with a dash of Hip Hop infusion (unendorsed).

Bigg Weezy brings prospective in his Stand Up talking about being a former employer to his weight loss and offering unusual points of view about Gay rights and civil rights.  His acting career includes films like the recently release (2014) “Bro What Happen” directed by Comedian Dante and Pilots pitches for Ryan Seacrest Productions co staring with Theo Von host of Howie Mandel’s hit show “Deal with It.” He’s appeared on the Tyra Banks Show, with his son Shamari Maurice.
